“Arguably the best ensemble of its kind in the world... exemplary music-making...impeccable precision... extraordinary unity...uncanny one-ness.”
– Manchester Evening News
Astonishing audiences worldwide with their range of expression, the Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet has redefined the sound of the classic wind quintet. The ensemble was founded in 1988 during the era of Herbert von Karajan. Today ensemble members are also teachers and coaches of young musicians in many countries.
